What Does Repentance Actually Mean?
Repentance is often misunderstood as emotional intensity or constant self-condemnation. Scripture describes it more simply—and more hope-filled.
“Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.”

Repentance means turning—a change of direction. It involves honesty, humility, and return, not despair.
What repentance is
